The funding, awarded through the NSF Engines program, marks the largest and most competitive award ever granted by the agency. Read More Arkansas Steel Associates Go ZERO for green and clean energy in 2024 Arkansas Steel Associates is the among the first customers to cover 100 percent of their energy usage with offerings from Entergy Arkansas’ Go ZERO tariff, which gives commercial and industrial customers customizable options for green and clean energy. Go ZERO, which stands for Zero Emissions Resource Options, allows customers to acquire green and clean energy attributes associated with the output of Entergy Arkansas’ existing emissions-free generation resources, as well as additional renewable energy resources as they come online. Read More  Joe Biden’s Limits on LNG Exports Won’t Help the Climate "Freedom gas” saved Europe from an energy crisis. The old continent’s imports of American liquefied natural gas (LNG), first equated with liberty by Donald Trump’s administration in 2019, ballooned from 16m tonnes in 2021, the year before Russia invaded Ukraine and all but stopped piping gas to Europe, to 46m tonnes last year. The decisions to redirect LNG cargoes destined for Asia and elsewhere to Europe were made by private companies. But they enjoyed strong official support from Mr Trump’s successor, Joe Biden. So did LNG exports more broadly, turning America into the world’s biggest exporter, ahead of Qatar and Australia. Read More Georgia Senators Announce Federal Clean Energy Investment Funds for Farmers U.S. Senators the Rev. Raphael Warnock, D-Ga., a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, and Jon Ossoff, D-Ga., announced a slate of new federal clean energy investments that will help farmers, ranchers, and business owners in rural Georgia lower their energy costs. Federal investments announced by Georgia's two senators will fund nine projects in eight rural Georgia counties, including Gilmer, Habersham, Morgan, Stephens, Union, Crawford, Dodge, and Franklin.
