$4 Billion Green Hydrogen Factory to be Built in North Texas

A $4 billion, renewable-energy powered green hydrogen factory will be built in North Texas on the site of a retired coal plant, with plans for the site to be operational by 2027, reports The Wall Street Journal.

The factory, a partnership between industrial-gas manufacturer Air Products and power company AES Corp, will use wind and solar energy to produce more than 73,000 metric tons of hydrogen a year.
